Updating positions in IBC self-service

The way you keep the team structures/positions up to date has been made easier with some changes in the IBC: 

• The forms are more intuitive and easier to use. There’s guidance throughout the forms to help you complete them.
• When a member of staff leaves their position on a temporary basis, their old vacant position will show as ‘substantive’. This means the post holder is on an acting up/ secondment or a career break and you can easily see which positions to keep open for them to return to.
