Book Now for early bird tickets to this important Oxfordshire conference

Local Charities Oxfordshire Youth and Oxfordshire Mind are collaborating to run the Youth in Mind Conference for 400 professionals working with children and young people on 27 March 2019 at the King’s Centre.

The conference will raise awareness about mental health by hosting speakers from the forefront of mental health research, to grass roots organisations and young people themselves.

Resent research indicates that children and young people are in need of more support than ever before, but with local authority cuts to services, there is more need than ever for such events to bring professional together to share ideas and raise awareness of what they can offer young people in need of support.

There will be speeches from Mina Fazel from Oxford University department of psychiatry and Lucy Butler, Head of Children services in Oxfordshire. Workshops will include important topics including a whole school approach, self-harm, social media and resilience, anxiety, the mental health of Muslim young people and LGBTQ+ mental health.

Early bird tickets cost only £25 - offer ends on 10 December.
