We are nearly finished for Christmas, and what a busy start to the year it has been! I have been in post for 6 months now and it feels like longer and no time at all, all at once!
I have been delighted to meet so many of you during visits to schools, and at the various meetings held. Thank you to those of you that came along to our recent Breakfast/Headteacher & Governor briefings, I appreciate you making the time to attend. These briefings are an important opportunity for us to come together with you to share information, reflect and feedback on what is and isn’t working, and of course network to put faces to names. We are working on the next round of briefings for the spring term and will share the dates with you as soon as possible in the new year.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I trust and hope you are able to enjoy some much deserved rest & relaxation with family & friends over the festive period. 2018 has been a busy and challenging year, and I am hugely grateful for your continued hard work and commitment to the children and young people of Oxfordshire. I am proud of all we have achieved, and excited to continue working with you on the challenges that await us in the new year!
Many thanks and best wishes
