3 half day sessions with Rob Webster (UCL) to support schools to review deployment & impact of TAs

Last chance to book your school's place on Maximising the Impact of Teaching Assistants (MITA) 2019

OXSIT are bringing the team who lead on MITA to Oxfordshire to support school leaders in improving outcomes for learners vulnerable to underachievement. Based at the Centre for Inclusive Education, UCL Institute of Education, they’ve produced leading national guidance on making best use of teaching assistants and contributed to the professional standards for Teaching Assistants (TAs).

There will be three training sessions that will support you to look at the deployment and impact of TAs in your school.
2 senior leaders from each school.

All three sessions for two delegates cost £550.

10 January 2019, 14 February 2019 and 02 May 2019.

All sessions will run from 1:30pm to 5:00pm

Our first cohort (20 schools) gave overwhelming positive comments about this training run by the Institute for Education.

Here are some quotations from schools who participated last year:

“MITA has given our school a renewed shared vision to give a consistent and positive approach. It has given everyone a clear line of communication enabling all staff to support and develop effective learners”.

“MITA has given us the opportunity to look at and evaluate the way our school deploys TAs. Staff now recognise how to best address the needs of learners to maximise learning opportunities. MITA has formalised the process for us – there is more chance of this being consistent and effective across our school”
