On behalf of: Tan Lea (Strategic Safeguarding Partnerships Manager)
VOXY (Voice of Oxfordshire's Youth) and the Children’s Trust Board would like feedback from all children and young people in Oxfordshire, aged 8 - 18 and up to 25 with additional needs, about how supported they feel by the services they use.
We first shared this questionnaire in January 2019, and one year on we would like to see how supported children and young people feel now. (Young people should complete the 2020 version of the questionnaire, even if they filled in the 2019 version last year.)
The online questionnaire is now available to share with children and young people, until it closes on Sunday 9th February: www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/besupported
We would prefer the online version to be completed where possible, but a paper PDF version is also available, which needs to be returned earlier - by Monday 3rd February.
The Children’s Trust Board would like the questionnaire to be promoted widely, to ensure a good level of feedback, so please cascade to teachers and staff in your school, and any other contacts, as appropriate.
We are particularly keen to hear from targeted groups, as although the survey is open to all children and young people in Oxfordshire, we need to make sure that we are hearing from children and young people who have experiences relating to any of the three priorities for the Oxfordshire Children and Young People’s Plan 2018 - 2021, which are: missing out on education, social and emotional wellbeing and/or mental health needs, and domestic abuse.
Please encourage children and young people to complete the online questionnaire where possible and ASAP - before the 9th February deadline.
Many thanks in advance for your help with this,
Engagement Officer and VOXY Co-ordinator
