School music opportunities order form

Headteachers, Music Coordinators
Details about music opportunities for your school and pupils

We are so proud that Oxfordshire continues to provide a thriving County Music Service in schools thanks to its headteachers, heads of music and music coordinators who not only welcome our peripatetic instrumental and vocal teachers into their schools, but who also take part in schools’ concerts, events and training that are organised in venues across Oxfordshire.

Please browse our 2019-20 brochure and place your order soon!

In this current academic year, we are pleased with new initiatives. Highlights include:

  • Key stage One Festivals which have become less Oxford-centric with large take-up in Bicester, Carterton and Watlington (pg 10)
  • Many more schools taking part and winning awards in the annual Music Hub Gala Awards (pg 39)
  • An ongoing provision for buddy ensembles (pg 34) following the take up from many special and mainstream schools in Oxfordshire’s massed Buddy Ensemble Youth Proms performance at the Royal Albert Hall in November.

Additions for 2019-20:

  • Following consultation and recommendations from secondary schools, we are pleased to offer a wider range of workshops (pg 27)
  • Half a year of First Access whole class instrumental tuition (Option B pg 14)
  • First Access Festivals hosted in secondary schools across Oxfordshire (pg 16)
  • Recorderbabies for 3-5yr olds (pg 8)
  • The large take-up for Primary Pop concerts has led us to reorganise into two events:
    • Singing Festival for yrs. 3 & 4 (pg 20), and
    • Pop Festival for Yrs. 5,6,7,8 – a great transition event (pg 20 and pg 28)

There is much to sign up to and we will be pleased to receive your order as soon as possible.

Deadline: 4 June 2019.
