The next phase

Please be aware that some staff may find that they are currently unable to access the IBC Portal and ESS Lite, due to technical issues.

The cause of the problem is being investigated, and we are working hard to bring services back up and running as soon as possible.

If you are already logged into the system, we recommend that you log out, until normal service resumes, to avoid any risk of you losing work.

We apologise for any short term inconvenience that this may cause. 

 

Having listened, the IBC have taken on board people’s feedback, and will be continuing to develop their services to ensure you get the right support first time.

Reminder – IBC enquiries – update and changes for the new term

As previously advised, over the summer we’ve made some IT improvements to help us better manage the quality and speed of your HR, payroll, finance and payment enquiries.

From now on, any enquiry raised before 23 August that has not been resolved, will show in the history as ‘Open - read-only’ until they are closed. You will still be able to view these enquiries (but not edit them). Our teams will continue to work on these cases and when resolved, you will receive an email to advise you what action has been taken.

New enquiries

Before raising any new enquiries this term, you will need to enter a ‘Correspondence email’ address in the ‘My Information’ section on ESS Lite. This email address will auto-populate the ‘Your email’ field in the enquiry form – saving you from having to enter it each time. It will also ensure we have the correct email address for you. In future, your ‘Personal email’ address information will be available only to your managers for private communications. Please refer to the guidance on the IBC help pages for more information about this.

We are continuing to make outbound calls to customers to help resolve enquiries, so when raising an enquiry, please remember to include your telephone number, and your availability to take a call, and all other information we may need.

Enquiries now have a new set of statuses showing in the history, so you can easily check on the progress of your case.
