The Access to Education Panel is a multi-agency group established to support children of statutory school age in Oxfordshire who are temporarily or permanently out of education. This may be due to health issues or other exceptional circumstances.
The panel ensures these children receive appropriate, high-quality educational provision under Section 19 of the Education Act 1996. It meets every two weeks during term time to review submitted requests and decide on next steps.
